hey everyone! there really is only one word i can say to describe the past week. and ironically enough i happened on a unique find @ the shady hollow flea this past weekend that sums it up! so in one word...
all i need to add to the above is! isn't that treasure too cool? the fella selling it was telling me it was a farm implement of sorts to hang something-something on. i was too excited + maybe a bit tired to retain the exact details. it is perfect not only as an accent but i knew it would be an appropriate expression after the wild holiday weekend at the hollow!
thank you to everyone who made the journey out. and to those souls who braved the crowds in my little cottage. also kudos to all the wonderful people who truly make what i do so darn fun.

the weather was a roller coaster ride! there were moments of some rain...gusts of wind...and plenty of sunshine to go around! infact, the "patriotic" sunglasses i picked up earlier this summer {below} would have been fitting! they are in mint condition...and even came with the original case. funny!
one of my flags made it's way out to a display...
and i walked away on monday with a boxful of "money" {below}.
well...it may not buy a whole heck of alot but i couldn't resist the old graphics! ahhh...the color of money {below}!
so. there you have it. WOW! what a week...a flurry of activity getting the goodies ready + setting the stage for the four days of whirlwind shopping! and off i go to prepare all over again...
