greetings everyone! the weather here the last few days has been glorious! the sunshine + a bargain buy of a dozen roses sparked the creative energy i was needing to make some baubles i am so very excited about!
1st things 1st ~ the day after valentine's means stores are still overflowing w/ a plethora of rose bouquets. though not something i usually pick up...i could hardly resist a dozen lime-hued lovelies for a mere $7. brought them home and removed all their foliage to reveal the sculptural beauty of the stems. i love their raw simplicity grouped in vintage lab vessels {below}
ok...i have to tell ya. i am pretty proud of how the following creation turned out!
first because i don't dabble in bracelets much but felt like working outside my "comfort zone".
second...if you know me...i tend to collect bits & baubles for projects but then "save" them. but not today! i reached deep into my jars & pulled out some cherished objects.
i shall call her roses-n-relics....and hopefully will find a good home for her...that is if i can reach the third step of actually letting go!
another rosey patinaWHITE original is my hand-forged organic pendant {below}. i am wearing her now as i type. doesn't mean i won't be offering her up for adoption...but i am in the process of some serious bonding! and to further reinforce the bond i've named her hewn heart.
i will end today with a "good" tiding....and let my little printer's blocks perched atop a wire flower frog do the talking....
thanks for stopping by...and make it a great day!
