hello*hello! i have to get around the idea that i need to have long...rambling...picture filled posts every time i think about blogging. because sometimes it's nice to be able to share a fast check in with you. which is {EXACTLY} what i'm doing today!
last fall hubby & spent a day driving 'round the countryside. this forgotten farmhouse on a back road has fascinated me for years.
i thought it was particularly striking this day with the bright blue sky and grassy grains surrounding it. feeling the urge to explore just a little without overstepping my welcome (not that i was welcomed in the first place)....i walk around and peeked @ some of the details a bit closer.
one thing that caught my eye was the doorknob of all things. it just had the right {patinaWHITE} look. so i snapped a quick shot of it to save for a later date. well now it's later & i was inspired to create some art w/ that fabulous doorknob. i found a quote by Flora Whittemore that was fitting & then put together the collage {below} to share with you!
